The beauty Industry pulled me in when I was 18, and my love and appreciation for it has grown with the years. When I was 21 and decided to open my own business, it was all I could think about. As Reflexions has evolved, I am pleased to have created a business you can rely on for consistent, high quality work in a friendly inviting environment. My incredibly talented team members make my vision of the Salon and its ongoing success possible. With industry styles, practices, and products constantly changing, I’ve made continuous education a high priority for me and my staff. Our goal is to always deliver to you the best in the latest trends.
The greatest influence in my work and life are my husband and my family. They are my support network, motivation and my inspiration. While living a lifestyle that constantly involves long hours its essential to have support from family who supports your dreams and pushes you forward. I’ve been blessed to have a loving family that encourages me to be the best I can be.
Being open for over 30 years is an enormously gratifying milestone. To all of you, I want you to know how much your friendship and patronage mean to me. I could never have made it all these years without you. I look forward to the future. Covid-19 certified.
Francesca
Francesca has been working at Reflexions since 2014. Although her first passion is doing nails, she is also a graduate of UCONN with a biology degree and an Masters Degree in Curriculum and Instruction. While she continues her education, she graces us with her incredible talent as a Nail Technician.. She was certified in New Jersey at the Hot Tips Academy for Nails which equipped her with all the education needed to service all your nail care needs to the highest standards. She is also Barbicide/Covid- 19 certified since May 2020. She keeps her education in the nail Industry on going and her work is a true testament to her talent. All of her clients show a true appreciation for her artistry and professionalism. Each one of her sets is unique, turning “ok” nails into beautiful nails. Covid-19 certified.
Randilynn
“Silly boys Barbering is for girls” Randilynn joined our team in October of 2020. She has become a great asset to the Reflexions family. She has been a barber since 2015. She graduated from the International Institute of Cosmetology. Randilynn has years of experience in Cleanups, Shaves, Neck Shaves, Beard Trims, Boys and Men’s Cuts and Men’s Coloring. She is ready to take care of all of your barbering needs. Randilynn not only works with Men’s hair but she also works on womens cuts, colors and foils. She is certified in Keratin Complex Treatments, certified in Hot Heads Hair Extensions, and taken extensive classes in Oligo color. Attending regular education classes both in salon and out of the salon keeps her up to date with the latest trends and fashion. In addition to every day hair styles Randiynn specializes in Bridal up-dos and Prom styles. Not only can she create a vision for your hair but she can execute it as well. Her goal is to have her clients leave her chair feeling and looking their best. Her unwavering, strong work ethic keeps her focused and we are very fortunate to have her on our team. Ola
Reflexions Studio is happy to announce Ola as part of our innovative Team. She is a graduate from the International Institute of Cosmetology in Plainville. She is looking forward to meeting and becoming friends with all of our existing clients and forming new relationships of her own. Ola says, "the thing that excites me in this industry is that you have the ability to learn a lot of different things about your inner and outer beauty, which I find amazing, I'm excited to showcase my talent and tell the whole world who I am and be able to visually express my personality.” She also specializes in threading and waxing. Ola takes pride in her work and continues her education to polish her skills and keep up to date with the constantly changing hair trends. Being a Hijabi girl brings a new interest to our Salon. We offer enclosed areas for their hair services to ensure privacy and comfort. Covid-19 certified.
Geavonia
Geavonia graduated from Brio Academy of Cosmetology in Torrington in 2012. We are very excited that she has joined our team. Specializing in both men and women’s haircuts, colors, foils and keratin treatments. With over 10 years in the industry, Geavonia is a great asset. Her enthusiasm and passionate attitude brings such a positive energy to the Salon. She applies her past experiences in the hair Industry to each client making sure they leave feeling and looking their best. Geavonia says, “ I love building strong connections with my clients and helping them express their personalities through their appearance.” When Geavonia is not at the Salon she enjoys kayaking and fishing with her son. Lama
Lama is joining our team in our mentorship program. After years of working under our education team, she will be gracing us with her talent in March of 2023. Until that time, she will be attending numerous classes so as to always be knowledgeable of the best and most up to date techniques and trends. We have also created a space at our Salon where conservative Muslim women can receive beauty services in a comfortable environment. Lama looks forward to assisting you in making the most of your Salon experience and will do her best in assuring that you will get a service that not only satisfies you when you leave the Salon but one that you will continue to love and continue to be able to work with a month later and every day after. Lama’s favorite quote is "The dream is free; the hustle is sold separately". She is reminded of this every day and continues to work hard to make her dreams and goals a reality.
